The Dallas Police Shooting Aftermath

The Aftermath

Well first I would like everyone to pray for the city of Dallas Texas.  By now everybody has heard about the shooting that went on after the “Peaceful Protest” over the killings that took place in Louisiana and Minnesota.  The Victims are Alton Sterling who was trying to make some money selling CD’s and Philando Castile  who was following police orders when he was shoot reaching for his license.  Now we know that stuff happens but when things happen at a constant pace there is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Let me give you an example, in the incident in Dallas when the shooting occurred, a young black man that was expressing his rights and may I say risking his life by openly carrying his weapon something that is legal to do in Texas.  Well as we know his name was plastered all over the internet as the suspect.   He turned himself in, but that has not stopped the death threats etc., Even if he had nothing to do with it.   Now that is not my problem, my problem is that they have photos and a name of the real suspect  and we still don’t know who he is.  We don’t know his race, we don’t know anything other then the police blew him up with a bomb. What are they hiding.

Now I know that they are investigating the crime so I give them that,  I know that sometimes its in their best interest to keep that private for the time being  and I give them that.  My problem is  that  when they thought it was the black man that was openly carrying they didn’t hesitate to identify him.  That is the problem where they have a double standard and they have had a double standard for a long time and until the police can be up front with the people, it is hard to trust the them, and it is a shame when you can’t trust the people we pay to serve and protect us.

Now if you are listening to the news reports the police can’t keep the black lives movement out of their mouths.  You can’t blame the problem on someone just because they have a problem with you killing their son’s and daughters.  It’s is so easy to blame the problem on someone other then themselves,  The black lives matter campaign is not running around here killing Americans.  When you have a problem the first thing you have to do is look in the mirror.  We lost 5 police officers because one crazy man with a gun named Micah Xavier Johnson.

I also blame all of you, because I have always been told that if you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.  Stop being part of the problem, you know wrong when you hear it and see it and if you allow anyone to get away with wrong actions, then you are just as guilty as they are.  Injustice when it is allowed to go unchecked it will eventually catch up with you,  today it is the black man, and the Hispanic man, but tomorrow it may be you.
